(Published at Wichita.gov/LegalNotices on October 23, 2026) SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 53-118 On October 20, 2026, the governing body of the City of Wichita, Kansas passed an ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF WICHITA, KANSAS TO ISSUE ITS TAXABLE INDUSTRIAL REVENUE BONDS, SERIES III, 2026 (GREATER WICHITA YMCA) FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING THE COSTS OF THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION, RENOVATION AND EQUIPPING OF ADDITIONAL IMPROVEMENTS TO EXISTING RECREATIONAL FACILITIES; AND AUTHORIZING OTHER DOCUMENTS AND ACTIONS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH. The Ordinance authorizes the Issuer to issue its Taxable Industrial Revenue Bonds, Series III, 2026 (Greater Wichita YMCA) in the aggregate principal amount of $22,000,000 (the "Series III, 2026 Bonds"), for the purpose of paying the costs of the acquisition, construction, renovation and equipping of additional improvements to existing recreational facilities (the "Project"), as more fully described in the Indenture, the Site Lease and the Project Lease authorized by the Ordinance. The Project will be leased by the Issuer to The Young Men's Christian Association of Wichita, Kansas, a Kansas not for-profit corporation.
