NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING City of Wichita –Wichita Transit Proposed FTA Grant Application Wichita Transit will hold a public hearing at 11:00 a.m. on August 20, 2026, in the Van Maintenance Facility located at 777 E. Waterman, Wichita, Kansas. The purpose of this hearing will be to receive input from the general public and private transportation providers regarding Wichita Transit's proposed grant application for assistance from the Federal Transit Administration for funding under 49 U.S.C. §5339(c) – Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Program and 49 U.S.C. §5339(c) – The Low or No Emission Bus Program (Low-No Program). The grant request will be for the purchase of buses and related equipment. If no input is provided, the proposed grant application will become the actual grant application unless otherwise amended.
