NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING City of Wichita –Transportation Proposed FTA Grant Application Wichita Transit will hold a public hearing at 1:00 P.M. on July 15, 2026, at 777 E. Waterman, Wichita, Kansas. The purpose of this hearing will be to receive input from the general public and private transportation providers regarding Wichita Transit's proposed grant application for Section 5307 formula funds from the Federal Transit Administration. The Federal grant request will be $6,956,425 for Section 5307 formula funds to support transit planning, project administration, training, ADA and fixed route operations, security and safety, and preventive maintenance in FY2026. If no input is provided, the proposed grant application will become the actual grant application unless otherwise amended.
