NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, July 23, 2026, no earlier than 1:30 p.m., the Wichita-Sedgwick County Metropolitan Area Planning Commission/Board Zoning Appeals will consider the following applications. The meeting will be held in person at the Ronald Reagan Building, 271 West Third Street, 2nd Floor, Wichita, KS 67202. Public participation is encouraged (see instructions below). Virtual participation is not available. CON2026-00085: Conditional Use request in the City to allow a Heliport on property zoned GO General Office District, generally located on the north side of East Central Avenue and between North Hillside Avenue and North Rutan Avenue (3313 East Edgemont Place).
DER2026-00007: Comprehensive Plan amendment (City and County) adopting the Downtown Wichita Action Plan 2035 as an amendment to the Wichita-Sedgwick County Comprehensive Plan.
