NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING City of Wichita –Transportation Proposed FTA Grant Application Wichita Transit will hold a public hearing at 3:00 P.M. on March 12, 2026, at 777 E. Waterman, Wichita, Kansas. The purpose of this hearing will be to receive input from the general public and private transportation providers regarding Wichita Transit's proposed grant application for Section 5339 formula funds from the Federal Transit Administration. The Federal grant request will be $1,673,250 in 5339 funding to support capital projects in FY2026. If no input is provided, the proposed grant application will become the actual grant application unless otherwise amended.
