Application to Transfer Construction & Demolition Landfill Permit Kansas Department of Health and Environment – Bureau of Waste Management Wichita Waste Systems, LLC Transfer of Cornejo & Sons, LLC Permit #0829 Application to Transfer Construction & Demolition Landfill Permit The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) received an application from Wichita Waste Systems, LLC, a subsidiary of Allied Waste Systems, Inc, for Permit #0829, currently operated by Cornejo & Sons, LLC, to be transferred to their name. The landfill site is located at 4250 W 37th St N, Wichita, KS 67205. No changes to the permit documents or facility operations are planned at this time. KDHE has reviewed the permit transfer application and found it to be in conformance with the state solid waste statutes and regulations. KDHE is providing public notice of their intent to issue this permit transfer to Wichita Waste Systems, LLC. However, a final decision to issue the permit has not been made, and KDHE will consider information gathered during the public comment period before making a final decision.
