Notice of Proposed Kansas Air Quality Construction Permit Notice is hereby given that the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) is soliciting comments regarding a proposed air quality construction permit. Ferroloy has applied for an air quality construction permit in accordance with the provisions of K.A.R. 28-19-300. Emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC), particulate matter (PM), particulate matter with less than or equal to 10 microns in aerodynamic diameter (PM10), particulate matter with less than or equal to 2.5 microns in aerodynamic diameter (PM2.5), carbon monoxide (CO), oxides of nitrogen (NOx), oxides of sulfur (SOx), and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) were evaluated during the permit review process. Ferroloy, 515 E. 29th St. N, Wichita, Kansas 67219-4109 owns and operates a grey and ductile castings facility. A small iron and steel foundry located at 515 E. 29th St. N, Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas 67219-4109, at which five (5) CNC machines, decommissioning of Pacemaster 75 emission unit, are to be installed. A copy of the proposed permit, permit application, all supporting documentation, and all information relied upon during the permit application review process are available for public review from the date of publication during normal business hours at the KDHE, Bureau of Air (BOA), 1000 SW Jackson, Suite 310, Topeka, KS 66612-1366 and at the South Central District Office, 300 W. Douglas, Suite 700, Wichita, Kansas 67202.
