Franklin PUD 2027 Pre-Qualified Contractors List NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Public Utility District No. 1 of Franklin County invites contractors to submit applications for the District's 2027 Pre-Qualified Contractors List. In accordance with RCW 54.04.085, the Pre-Qualified Contractors List is approved by the District's Board of Commissioners annually. Only contractors who are successfully pre-qualified through this process will be eligible to submit bids for future work on the District's electrical and fiber systems. Electrical work consists of substation, transmission, and distribution construction projects, streetlights, dock crew projects, meter testing, pole testing and treatment, and tree trimming services. Fiber work consists of splicing, repairs, and overhead and underground fiber construction projects. Prequalification requirements include: Adequate financial resources, or the ability to secure such resources; The necessary experience, organization, and technical qualifications to perform the proposed work; The ability to comply with required performance schedules taking into consideration all of its existing business commitments; A satisfactory record of performance, integrity, judgment, and skill to perform the proposed work; and, Be otherwise qualified and eligible to receive an award under applicable laws and regulations. Application must be received by October 22, 2026 for contractors to be pre-qualified by January 1, 2027. This is NOT a notice of bids. The applications submitted by contractors will be used by the District to establish a list of contractors from which future bids may be requested.
