Proposal: Julie Soto, on behalf of herself and the other property owners, Steven Lee Vue, Javier Soto, and Griselda S. Contreras, has submitted a Notice of Intention to Commence Annexation Proceedings (10 Percent Petition) requesting annexation of Parcel No. 119542042, currently addressed as 1117 Road 52 and legally described as Lot 2 and a portion of Lot 1 of Short Plat No. 98-6, located in Franklin County, Washington. The subject area is generally located south of West Court Street, north of West Sylvester Street, west of Road 44, and east of Road 52, within Section 26, Township 9 North, Range 29 East, W.M. The purpose of the proposed annexation is to incorporate the subject property into the City of Pasco consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and applicable development regulations. The Pasco City Council will consider a resolution accepting the Notice of Intention to Commence Annexation Proceedings and determining whether the proposed annexation may proceed. The City Council will also establish the boundaries of the proposed annexation area and determine whether the annexation will require the simultaneous adoption of zoning regulations and the assumption of existing City bonded indebtedness.
