NOTICE OF HANFORD 60-DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND MEETING
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and contractor Hanford Tank Waste Operations and Closure (H2C) are holding a 60-day public comment period and meeting on a proposed Class 2 Resource Conservation and Recovery Act permit modification to the Hanford Dangerous Waste Permit. The modification supports the department's dual path, glass plus grout strategy to accelerate Hanford's cleanup mission in the 200 East Area.
