KENNEWICK PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING August 17, 2026 6:30 p.m. The Kennewick Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, August 17, 2026, at City Hall Council Chambers, 210 West 6th Avenue, at 6:30 p.m. or as soon as possible thereafter, to receive public comment on the 2026 Periodic Update to the Comprehensive Plan, Housing Action Plan, Critical Areas Ordinance, and related Development Code amendments to align with recent changes to the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) relative to housing and parking. Staff will present their analysis and the Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council on the items. The public hearing will be conducted in a hybrid setting which will allow interested parties to participate in person or virtually. Project# DCA-2026-0004 – Development Code Amendment updating minimum parking requirements in KMC 18.36 to align with recent changes to the RCW.
