Main Canal Floor Replacement 2026/27
Yakima County, Washington
Bidders are invited to submit sealed bids required for floor replacement of the Roza Irrigation District Main Canal. The principal work to be performed is earthwork and concrete work. This is a public work project. Bidders shall comply with all applicable laws of the State of Washington pertaining to the performance of public works contracts, including compliance with laws pertaining to prevailing wages on public works contracts.
Bids shall be on unit price basis per schedule and in U.S. dollars. Award will be based upon the lowest responsible responsive bid as defined in RCW 39.04. All work related to this contract must be completed by March 8, 2027.
The Roza Irrigation District (District), P.O. Box 810 / 125 S. 13th Street, Sunnyside, WA 98944, will receive bids until 2:30 P.M., July 30, 2026. Bids received after the time of announced opening will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. Bidder's failure to perform onsite inspection for field conditions will subject bid to being declared non-responsive.

A mandatory pre-bid consultation is scheduled for 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Roza Irrigation District office at 125 S. 13th Street, Sunnyside, Washington. Attendance by an employee or authorized representative of the prime bidder is required. Attendance by subcontractors, suppliers, or other third parties alone will not satisfy this requirement.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in certified or cashier's check or bid bond on District form and in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. All bid proposals must be on the form provided and if Successful Bidder fails to enter into the contract within the time specified in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents and be required to sign the Non-Collusion and Debarment Affidavit, as found in the Bidding Documents. In order to submit a Bid on a public work, Bidders and their Subcontractors shall hold such licenses and registrations as required by State Statutes and Codes and federal and local Laws and Regulations. Bidders will be required to comply with State of Washington RCW 39.30.060 relating to identification of Subcontractors.
The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities such as informalities.
