INVITATION TO BID
The City of Kennewick will receive sealed bids for RFB No. P2512-26 "Zone 1 Transmission Improvements Phase 1", at the Dan Frost Municipal Services Building, 1010 E. Chemical Drive, Kennewick, WA 99336, until May 26, 2026 at 10:00 A.M., and then be publicly opened and read aloud in the Frost Building Main Conference Room.
The work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the construction of approximately 3,050 linear feet of 18-inch ductile iron potable water pipeline along S. Olympia Street between W. 19th Avenue and W. 10th Avenue, and 2,688 linear feet of 36-inch ductile iron or steel potable water pipeline along W. 19th Avenue between S. Olympia Street and S. Garfield Street in Kennewick, Washington. Additional work includes installation of all associated valves, fittings, valve vaults; asphalt patching; site restoration; and all required testing, disinfection, and other work necessary to complete a fully operational water system in accordance with the Contract Documents, Plans, and Specifications.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Kennewick.
The City of Kennewick reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
