PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The City of Pasco is considering a proposed amendment to the municipal code. The Pasco City Council will hold an open record public hearing to receive public comment at 7:00 p.m. on May 18, 2026, in the Council Chambers at Pasco City Hall, 525 N. 3rd Avenue, Pasco, Washington. Access to the building is available through the east and south entrances. Following the public hearing, the City Council anticipates taking final action on the proposed amendment by ordinance. Proposed Code Amendment: CA2026-003 - Special Event Update: The City Council will consider an amendment to the city code governing special events, assemblies, and sales in public spaces. The amendment is intended to streamline the permit process, focus on life-safety priorities, and ensure appropriate staff review for code compliance, while reducing unnecessary review steps. This action is exempt from SEPA review under WAC 197-11-800(19).
