PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The City of Pasco is considering a proposed code amendment. The Pasco City Council will hold an open record public hearing to receive public comment on the proposed amendment at 7:00 p.m. on March 16, 2026, in the Council Chambers at Pasco City Hall, 525 N. 3rd Avenue, Pasco, Washington (please use the east side parking lot entrance). Final action on the proposed code amendment is anticipated to be taken by ordinance following the public hearing. Proposed Code Amendment: CA2026-002 - Special Event Update: The City Council will consider an amendment to the city code governing special events, assemblies, and sales in public spaces. The amendment is intended to streamline the permit process, focus on life-safety priorities, and ensure appropriate staff review for code compliance, while reducing unnecessary review steps. This action is exempt from SEPA review under WAC 197-11-800(19).
