ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT: Pasco School District, Site Demolition- 1605 Road 72, Pasco, Washington The project involves the demolition of a residence, outbuildings, underground basement, septic system and stabilizing the site for future development. The site is approximately 0.6 acres. BID DEADLINE: Thursday, February 26, 2026 BID LOCATION: Pasco School District Administration (Booth) Building 1215 W. Lewis Street Pasco, WA 99301 Bids will be received until 3:00:00 p.m. Bids and bid supplements received after the above times will not be opened or considered. Bids received after the stated time will not be accepted. The bids will be opened by Owner staff. Official bid results shall be made public within 48 hours of bid opening. Bids will be on a lump-sum basis awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informalities in the bidding. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 days subsequent to the opening of the bids without the written consent of the Owner. The required completion date of the project is April 20, 2026. Prospective General Contractor bidders and subcontractors may electronically access the Bid Documents starting February 3, 2026. Printed documents will not be provided, any printing required will be at the prospective bidders' expense. The Owner hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunities to submit bids, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, handicap, or national origin in consideration for an award. This project is subject to the Franklin County prevailing wage rate requirements. In accordance with state law, bidders are required to have a current Washington State Contractor's license at the time of submitting bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond with a State Licensed Surety, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid. This surety shall be forfeited in event of failure by the successful bidder to sign a contract or to furnish the necessary one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds.
