NOTICE OF APPLICATION AND PUBLIC HEARING
(PLN-T2-2025-00019)
Notice: Evan Verduin of Trek Architecture, on behalf of the property owner, Jadwin Spokane, has filed a Site Plan Review application to amend the previously approved Site Plan Review application (SPR2022-101) for the addition of six carport structures on the project site. This application is considered a "Major Revision" of File #SPR 2022-101 and requires a new Site Plan Review as required by the Hearing Examiner's decision for the original project.
Project Site: The project site is located at 1866 Jadwin Ave (APN 102982020745003). The site is designated as Limited Business Use (C-LB), according to the City's Zoning Code.
Public Hearing: The Richland Hearing Examiner will conduct a public hearing to review the application on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Richland City Hall Council Chambers, 625 Swift Boulevard. All interested parties are invited to attend and participate in the public hearing.
Environmental Review: The proposal is not subject to environmental review. The City issued a Determination of Non-Significance on July 1, 2022, for this project and is therefore exempt from additional SEPA review.
Public Comment: Any person desiring to express their views or to be notified of any decisions pertaining to this application should notify Ryan Nelson, Senior Planner, 625 Swift Boulevard, MS-35, Richland, WA 99352. Comments may be emailed to planning@ci.richland.wa.us.
The deadline to submit written comments is 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026. To be incorporated into the staff report presented to the Hearing Examiner, comments must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 02, 2026. Comments received between January 03, 2026 and January 12, 2026 will be entered into the record during the hearing.
