NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Benton City Council has scheduled a public hearing for Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 7:00 PM. During the meeting the City Council will conduct an open-record public hearing regarding extending the moratorium of any property located within the city's current floodway B Zone adjacent to and in proximity to the FEMA one-hundred-year floodplain. All interested parties are invited to participate in the hearing. At the City Council open record public hearing, comments may be made verbally or in writing. Following the public hearing, the City Council will make a decision on the extension of the moratorium.
