JUDGMENT FORECLOSING TAX LIENS AND ORDER OF SALE
THIS MATTER came on for hearing on the Franklin County Treasurer’s motion for an order of default and application for judgment foreclosing Franklin County’s property tax liens upon those parcels of real property described in the Amended Certificates of Delinquency filed herein that have not been dismissed from this action or redeemed prior to the date of sale, which Certificates are incorporated herein by this reference, and for an order of sale thereof, and the Court having considered the pleadings on file herein, and having made and entered its Order of Default, Findings of Facts and Conclusions of Law, and being fully advised, now, therefore, IT IS ORDERED that the liens of the Franklin County Treasurer upon each of the parcels of real property described in the Certificate of Delinquency for delinquent taxes, penalties, interest, and costs, constitute superior liens upon such real property and that the liens be and the same are hereby foreclosed. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Franklin County Treasurer sell the several parcels of real property herein above referred to, except for parcels redeemed or dismissed from this action for other reasons on or before 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Daylight Savings Time), Thursday, December 11th, 2025, to the highest and best bidder for cash as provided by RCW 84.64.080 and RCW 84.64.200, and from the proceeds of the sales, satisfy this judgement together with interest thereon at 9% per annum on the balance of unpaid taxes, computed on the day of sale and plus accrued costs. The sale will be conducted, pursuant to RCW 84.64.080, via online auction at http://www.govease.com, to commence on or about Friday, December 12th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.(PST) and to close on Friday, December 12th, 2025, with the sale continuing thereafter on any parcel remaining unsold until each parcel is sold or the Treasurer determines no bids were received. Further instructions for the sale can be found by contracting the Franklin County Treasurer’s Office directly or at the Franklin County Treasurer’s webpage at https://www.franklincountywa.gov/411/Tax-Foreclosure-Sales IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this Judgment and Order of Sale shall not extinguish any easement interests of the Public Utility District No. 1 of Franklin County, or any other easements that by law survive this action. This foreclosure action excludes all oil or mineral rights that were served from the delinquent parcels prior to the issuance of the Certificates of Delinquency. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that each and every person named on the Certificate of Delinquency and served with notice by the Franklin County Treasurer and whose names have been filed herein, and all persons, known and unknown, except local improvement districts and irrigation district having assessment liens as allowed by law having or claiming to have an interest in or claim against the several parcels of real property described in the Certificate of Delinquency except those redeemed or dismissed prior to the day of sale, and except easement interests that survive this action, and they hereby forever barred and foreclosed of all right, title, and interest in and to the said several parcels of real property, and of all right and equity of redemption therein from and after the sale thereof under this decree; and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that a copy of this Default Judgment Foreclosing Tax Liens and Order of Sale be delivered to the Franklin County Treasurer, which shall be her full and sufficient authority to proceed to sell the several parcels described in the Certificates of Delinquency and have not been redeemed or dismissed prior to the day of sale.
