Revised Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) 2027 Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Capital NOFA The Tacoma Community Redevelopment Authority will be accepting applications for organizations to provide the following activities: -Acquisition and Disposition: Acquisition of Real Property: Example: Acquisition of affordable housing that does not require renovation -Public Facilities and Improvements: Water/Sewer Improvements, Street Improvements, Sidewalks, Clearance and Demolition, Cleanup of Contaminated Sites, Special projects directed to the removal of material and architectural barriers which restrict the mobility and accessibility of elderly and handicapped persons, other CDBG-eligible Public Facilities and Improvements activities. -Other CDBG-eligible activities not listed above. Important deadlines: There is a two-part submission deadline in 2026. Both deadlines must be met to have an application considered for funding: 1) Request an Application Submission Folder by Monday, November 9, 2026, by 12 PM (noon) PST. 2) Submit application materials by Thursday, November 12, 2026, by 12 PM (noon) PST.
