CITY OF ORTING NOTICE OF APPLICATION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Orting School District has applied for a Site Plan Review, Architectural Design Review, and SEPA to develop 13 acres of a 49-acre site with a new 95,000 square foot elementary school for primary education of approximately 600 students. Appurtenant development includes associated bus and car parking and loading areas, playground, artificial turf athletic fields with lighting, and access drives, utilities, and landscaping. The project would occur at 510 & 710 Washington Ave N (parcel nos. 0519301703 & 0519301018). The public is invited to comment. The public comment period ends September 25, 2026 at 5pm. Any person may comment on the application, receive notice of and participate in any hearings, and request a copy of the decision once made. Any member of the public may request a public hearing for the project as per RCW 58.17.095. Any person with standing may appeal the final decision.
