Notice of 15-Day Public Comment Period and Public Hearing 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) Notice Pierce County Human Services is making the 2025 CAPER available for public review and comment for 15 days starting September 4 through September 23, 2026. The 2025 CAPER is available to review at https://www.piercecountywa.org/2781/Program-Plans. Information about the CAPER On an annual basis Human Services receives three formula grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): Community Development Block Grant (CDBG); Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG); and the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME). The CAPER describes how the grant funds expended from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, helped carry out the housing, homeless, and community development objectives, strategies and activities outlined in Human Services 2025 One-Year Action Plan. As a condition of the grants, the department must submit the CAPER to HUD ninety days following the end of the 2025 program year. Review and Public Comment Period The public may provide comments from September 4 through September 23, 2026, by 4:30 PM.
