PUBLIC NOTICE PUGET SOUND CLEAN AIR AGENCY Proposed Order of Approval No. 12449 Puget Sound Energy 1001 Alexander Ave E Tacoma, Washington 98421 The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency is providing public notice for proposed changes to existing permit conditions for the Puget Sound Energy Liquified Natural Gas facility. These proposed changes in permit conditions would not authorize any physical changes at the facility, or any increases in facility production or air emissions. The proposed changes include an update to the volume of the existing liquified natural gas storage tank, removal of the requirement for liquified natural gas to be stored at a specific temperature, and clarification of the methodology by which the sulfur content of the processed natural gas is calculated. PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION The Agency has completed a review of application No. 12449. Based on this review, the Agency has made a preliminary determination that the proposal meets all the requirements of Regulations I, II, and III, and draft Order No. 12449 should be approved, subject to the conditions in the draft Order of Approval. PUBLIC COMMENT The proposed Order of Approval and the information considered in making this preliminary determination are available from the Agency's website at www.pscleanair.gov.
