TACOMA PUBLIC SCHOOLS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO DECLARE AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZE THE SALE OR LEASE OF SCHOOL DISTRICT PROPERTY AT 3321 and 3223 South Union (RCW 28A.335.120) Tacoma School District No. 10 intends to hold a public hearing to take testimony regarding the surplus and potential sale or lease of two parcels commonly known as the Union Avenue Building and Grounds and Maintenance and Operations buildings addressed as 3321 and 3223 South Union Ave., Tacoma, WA with parcel numbers 0320073056 and 0320073057. The public hearing will be held at 6501 N 23rd St, Tacoma, in the cafeteria auditorium at 6 p.m. on August 27, 2026. Time is subject to change and can be confirmed by calling 253-571-3322. At this time, the School Board will receive public comment and, following the hearings, may take action to authorize the surplus and intent to sell or lease the above described property. The parcels consist of approx. 6.5 total acres south of HWY 16 in Tacoma, WA and includes two partial two-story buildings of approx. 100,000 total square feet with surface level paved parking. The programs currently located in these buildings will be relocated.
