Pierce County Human Services has made available a Substantial Amendment to the Human Services 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 One Year Action Plans for public review and comment for 30 days from July 31 through September 2, 2026.
Substantial Amendment to 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 One Year Action Plans
This substantial amendment notifies the public of the allocation of $250,000 in 2024 CDBG funds to rehabilitate Pierce County's Crisis Triage and Stabilization Center. The amendment also notifies the public of the allocation of $882,128.72 in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and program income CDBG funds to Pierce County's Transitional Housing for Veterans project to acquire a multifamily property for use as transitional housing for veterans.
Notice is hereby given A 30-day public comment period for review of this substantial amendment will begin on July 31 and will close on September 2, 2026, by 4:30 pm. Human Services will present the substantial amendment during the Citizens' Advisory Board (CAB) meeting on September 2 at 6 pm and the CAB will hold a public hearing on the substantial amendment.
