NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pierce County Council will hold a public hearing on August 18, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the Pierce County Council Chambers, Room 1045, 10th Floor, 930 Tacoma Avenue South, Tacoma, WA, 98402 to consider the following:
Proposal No. O2026-544, An Ordinance of the Pierce County Council Vacating portions of 174th ST E (Gold ST), and East D ST (Spanaway Blvd), All in the Plat of Sunnydale Addition in the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 19 North, Range 3 East of the Willamette Meridian, Pierce County, Washington.
Legal Description of Property Proposed to be Vacated: A 40-foot wide portion of 174th ST E, being The West 85 feet of 174th ST E, and a 100-foot portion of 'D' ST adjoining the said 40-foot wide portion of 174th ST E to the West, and all that portion of 'D' ST E lying West of that portion vacated by Ordinance 82-96, and the West 125 feet of Quit Claim Deed AFN 8712070320 adjoining 174th ST E to the South, all being in the plat of Sunnydale Addition, recorded February 2, 1907, Volume 8 of plats at page 53, records of Pierce County, Washington. Situate in the County of Pierce, State of Washington.
