CALL FOR BIDS
CITY OF MILTON
23RD AVENUE SIDEWALK
Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Milton,
1000 Laurel Street, Milton, Washington 98354, up to 11:00 a.m.; local time on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the 23rd Avenue Sidewalk.
This contract provides for two schedules of work. Schedule A: Construction of new ADA compliant sidewalk along the east side of 23rd Avenue from Alder Street, south approximately 680 linear feet, and along the south side of Alder Street from 23rd Avenue east approximately 120 linear feet. Improvements include, but are not limited to, excavation, grading, cement concrete curb and gutter, cement concrete sidewalk, storm drainage improvements, asphalt paving, traffic control and other related work items. Schedule B: Installation of 630 linear feet of 8-inch diameter ductile iron water main on 23rd Avenue. Improvements also include, but are not limited to, new water service, temporary water services and asbestos pipe removal.
The Work shall be substantially complete within 45 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Washington.
The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "City of Milton" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.

Financing of the Project has been provided by City of Milton, Washington. The City of Milton expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
