CITY OF ORTING REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES KANSAS STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT The City of Orting, Washington seeks proposals from qualified consulting firms with expertise in construction inspection, specifically for a public works project. This will be a one-time project, the Kansas Street Rehabilitation project, which includes the installation of new storm drainage infrastructure, a newly paved street with sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and street lighting. The project is expected to be completed in March of 2027. Construction began in April of 2026. Water lines have already been installed. The street will be completed re-done. The selected consultant will perform inspection services as directed by the Orting Public Works Department, reporting to the City Administrator and coordinating with the Construction Management Team. The services described in this RFQ will be an on-call agreement for 9-10 months with the option for the City of Orting to extend for additional time and money if necessary. Proposals are due no later than Tuesday, July 18, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Proposals will be evaluated and interviews (if necessary) will be scheduled between July 24-28, 2026.
