ADVERTISEMENT Northwest Landing Pump Station 2026-MPW-040 SCOPE OF WORK: The purpose of this solicitation is to secure services to perform a range of construction activities at the Northwest Landing Wastewater Pump Station located in DuPont, Washington. The work includes constructing a below grade reinforced concrete foundation with spill containment walls, installation of a polyethylene storage tank, ferric chloride compatible pump system, steel roof structure, emergency shower/eyewash stations, chain-link fence, gates, stairs, and various electrical conduit, water and chemical piping, cables, wiring, and other appurtenances necessary for a functional system. The chemical pump system includes control and alarm panels with Owner furnished equipment for connection to the existing SCADA system. The work also includes extending power cables and conduits from the existing motor control center in the pump station to contractor provided electrical panels. The work also includes tapping the existing water service line and extension to the emergency showers. The pump station must remain operational throughout the work. * Pierce County will pay fees for the General Building Permit and Plan Review for this project. The Contractor is responsible for any specialty or other permits required for this project and shall include such fees in their bid. PROJECT ESTIMATE: $850,000.00, not including WA State Sales Tax PRE-BID WALKTHROUGH AND SITE EXAMINATION: An optional, pre-bid walk-through will be held at the NW Landing Pump Station 100 located at 1220 Wharf Road, DuPont, WA on Wednesday, 05/27/2026 9:00 AM, PST. Bidders must be registered in the OPENGOV software to submit questions. Oral explanations, interpretations, or instructions given by anyone before award of a contract will not be binding on the County. COMPLETION TIME: The successful bidder will be required to substantially complete all basic bid work within 150 CALENDAR DAYS OF NOTICE TO PROCEED.
