Notice of Determination of Nonsignificance, Incorporation by
Reference, and Adoption of Existing Environmental Documents
The City of University Place is proposing a Town Center Business District Plan to establish a cohesive business district with shared vision and implementation strategy that will apply specifically to the Mixed Use zones in the central portion of the City centered around Bridgeport Way W, between 29th St W to the north and just passed Cirque Dr W to the south. The plan is intended to help ensure that future redevelopment within the newly established district aligns with the vision and guiding principles of the Town Center District Plan.
This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2). The City proposes adoption of the following existing environmental documents: Final Environmental Impact Statement prepared in conjunction with the City's Comprehensive Plan (June 19, 1998). The City also proposes to incorporate by reference the following existing Environmental Documents: University Place Regional Growth Center Subarea Plan, VISION 2050 (PSRC), and the Regional Transportation Plan 2050 (PSRC). You may appeal this determination no later than May 29, 2026 by submitting appropriate forms and filing fees at University Place City Hall, 3609 Market Street West Ste 200, University Place, WA 98466.
