Fife, WA 98424 Description of Proposal: The proposal is to update the Fife Municipal Code related to the council's authority to execute a development agreement. The updates are intended to modernize the code to provide clarity in the application and review, what is and is not authorized via a development agreement, and the criteria for approving a development agreement. These amendments are intended to allow for increased flexibility and innovation, while maintaining consistency with the comprehensive plan, specific development regulations, and other applicable long strategic planning efforts. Lead Agency: City of Fife Case No: SEP26-0002 and MCA26-0001.The lead agency for this proposal has determined that this proposed action does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment, and an environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required. Comment Period: This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2); the lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date of issuance (5/1/26) Comments must therefore be submitted by 5:00 pm on 5/15/26.
