NOTICE OF TELEPHONIC PUBLIC HEARING
The Housing Authority of Pierce County (the "Issuer") will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. on the proposed issuance by the Issuer, pursuant to chapter 35.82 RCW and a plan of financing, of certain obligations (the "Obligations"), the interest on which will be excluded from gross income for federal income tax purposes pursuant to Section 103 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the "Code"). The Obligations are expected to be issued to finance the acquisition, rehabilitation, and equipping of the multifamily housing facility described below (the "Project"), which is to be operated as a qualified residential rental project under Section 142(d) of the Code to provide housing for low-income persons.
Project Description: Finance the acquisition, rehabilitation, and equipping of an approximately 248 multifamily housing complex known as Chateau Rainier
Maximum Principal Amount of Obligations: $37,500,000
Principal User: Chateau Rainier Renovation LLLP, a Washington limited liability limited partnership
Project Location: Approximately 9.16-acre site located in the vicinity of 4600 16th Street East, Fife, Washington 98424
In accordance with Internal Revenue Service Revenue Procedure 2022-20, the public hearing will not be conducted in person.

The public is invited to attend the hearing by telephone or video conference as described above and to present oral or written testimony regarding the proposed issuance of the Obligations and the location and nature of the proposed Project to be financed, or to submit written comments to the Issuer at 11515 Canyon Road East, Puyallup, Washington 98373 to be received no later than the time of the hearing. The hearing will constitute the public hearing required by Section 147(f) of the Code.
