City of University Place Notice of a Mitigated Determination of Nonsignificance West Pierce Fire & Rescue proposes to add a Public Facility Overlay (PFO) zone to a 4.73-acre parcel zoned Residential 1 (R1). The proposed action would retain the R1 as the underlying zone and add the PFO as an overlay zone. The overlay zone would allow construction of a new fire station on the parcel. This determination was made after reviewing a completed environmental checklist and other documents all of which are on file with the Community and Economic Development Department of the City of University Place. This information is available to the public on request. This MDNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2).
