Notice of Application / SEPA Optional Determination of Nonsignificance NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Edgewood, Washington has received an application for the following proposal: FILE: #26-1056 7-ELEVEN SITE DEVELOPMENT APPLICANT: Barbarick, Zach LOCATION: 817 MERIDIAN AVE E | Tax Parcel(s): 6575000010 PROPOSAL: The applicant proposes to remove existing fuel system which includes three (3) 12,000-gallon underground storage tanks, product and vent piping, monitoring equipment, dispensers, canopy, and concrete slabs. Backfill and restore site. COMMENTS DUE: April 29, 2026 @ 5:00 pm SEPA: The City's State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) responsible official has a reasonable basis for determining that significant adverse impacts are unlikely and/or can be mitigated, and expects to issue a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) using the optional DNS process under Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 197-11-355 and Edgewood Municipal Code (EMC) 20.05.120. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal. The proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is prepared. A copy of the s subsequent threshold determination for the specific proposal may be obtained upon request. The public may comment on the application until 5PM, on April 29, 2026 .
