Pierce County Human Services Notice of 30 - Day Public Comment Period, Public Hearing and Availability of 2026 One Year Action Plan Notice Pierce County Human Services is making available the 2026 One Year Action Plan for public review and comment for 30-days from April 3 through May 6, 2026. About the 2026 One Year Action Plan Pierce County Human Services is required by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to submit to HUD annually, by May 15, a One Year Action Plan that describes community needs, resources, priorities, and proposed activities to be undertaken in Pierce County through HUD programs (Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and Home Investment Partnerships (HOME)). These funding sources are to assist lower-income people, households, and communities throughout unincorporated areas in Pierce County, as well as the Pierce County Consortium Cities and Towns. Public Comment Period and Public Hearing A 30-day public comment period for review of this Plan begins April 3, 2026, and closes on May 6, 2026. The Citizens' Advisory Board (CAB) will hold a public hearing on these documents at their May 6, 2026, meeting at 6 pm.
