ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE
The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA), Plant Protection Division has issued a determination of non-significance (DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) for the Spongy Moth Eradication Project in Lakewood, Pierce County, Washington state. After reviewing a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the agency, WSDA has determined this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. A copy of the DNS and site-specific environmental checklist are available for review online at https://agr.wa.gov/departments/insects-pests-and-weeds/insects/invasive-moths/control-efforts An additional copy will be available for review at the Lakewood Pierce County Library, 10202 Gravelly Lake Dr SW, Lakewood. The public is invited to comment on the above-listed documents.
