City of Lakewood Public Hearing Notice When: Friday, February 13, 2026 Time: 10:00 AM Place: Virtual via zoom The City of Lakewood Planning and Public Works Department will be holding a public hearing for permit #PLN-2025-81: GTW Sports Complex Conditional Use Permit (CUP), submitted by Darren De Leon with The Game Time Way. The project scope includes: The remodel of an existing 21,300 Sq Ft suite into a sports recreation complex featuring basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and dodgeball courts, as well as weight room, and a learning center. The project site is located at 4429 95th Street Southwest Bldg. 8-B (APN#: 402220070) which is a 3.77 acre lot within the Industrial Business Park (IBP) zoning district. No new buildings will be constructed on the site. Pursuant to LMC 18A.40.040, the proposal has been determined to be a "Commercial Recreational Facility, Indoor" which requires a CUP for approval. All persons wishing to submit written comments on this project prior to the public hearing may do so by 5 PM on February 12, 2026. Written comments may be submitted at the hearing and interested parties may testify at the public hearing. The project files are available upon request. A copy of the staff report will be available for review through the Planning and Public Works Department seven (7) calendar days prior to the public hearing.
