CITY OF FIFE, WASHINGTON INVITATION TO BID Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Fife at City Hall, located at 5411 23rd Street East, Fife, Washington up to the hour of 11:00 a.m. PDT on Thursday, January 29, 2026, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the Valley Plaza Water Main Replacement Project, which will then be opened and publicly read beginning at 11:00 a.m. Proposals received after 11:00 a.m. PDT, on January 29, 2026, will not be considered. The work involves furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of water mains and service connections in the City of Fife. This includes installing 1,250 LF of 12-inch water main, 275 LF of 8-inch water main, replacement of water service connections, associated facilities and appurtenances, as well as site restoration tasks such as backfilling, grading, and surface restoration. A non-mandatory Prebid meeting will be held at the project site located at 5156 Pacific Highway East, Fife, WA 98424 on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. The Work shall be substantially complete within 50 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "City of Fife" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the outside clearly marked "sealed bid" with the bid opening date and time, and the project name as it appears in this advertisement and the name and address of the bidder. The City of Fife reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the bid or in the bidding.
