NOTICE OF APPLICATION

Description of Proposal:
Site consists of vacant land with a drainage ditch along the eastern property line, draining towards the north end of the property. An existing 72-inch CMP culvert discharges into the ditch on the southeastern corner of the Site. The purpose of the project is to extend the culvert approximately 207 linear feet towards the north end of the property, cover the pipe, and expand usable area on the Site for commercial activities. Location of Proposal:
Two parcels at the end of 29th St East, Fife, WA 98424 (Parcels 5190000140 & 5190000151). Case No: SEP25-0006. Lead Agency: City of Fife.

None at this time. Existing Environmental Documents that Evaluate the Proposed Project:
Critical Areas Report, Drainage Report, Grading and Drainage Plan, Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Stormwater Control Plan, Civil Plans. Other Permits not included in the Application: Grading, Drainage, Building, Mechanical, Plumbing and other discretionary permits necessary for construction of structures on the property. City staff has preliminarily determined that the proposed use appears to be consistent with the applicable zoning designations. Other regulations for project mitigation include, but are not limited to, Zoning (Title 19), Critical Areas (Title 17), Buildings and Construction (Title 15), and Low Impact Development (Title 21).
Public Hearing: There is no public hearing required for this approval. Comment Period: Agencies, tribes, and the public are encouraged to review and comment on the proposed project. You may also request notification of any hearings, a copy of the decision once made and information about appeal rights. The public comment period on this Notice of Application is fourteen (14) days. Comments must be received by 5:00 pm on January 5th, 2026. This document constitutes notice of pending action according to the Tribal Agreement of 1989.
