Notice of City of Lakewood Planning Commission Public Hearing The City of Lakewood, WA Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing on proposed amendments to the city's engineering development regulations on January 7, 2026 at 6:30 pm. All persons may submit written comments on the draft code amendments or testify in-person or virtual during the public hearing. HEARING DATE: January 7, 2026 TIME: 6:30 PM Location: Lakewood City Hall at 6000 Main Street SW Council Chambers or via ZOOM. Instructions on how to attend the hearing, view the draft proposal, testify and/or submit written comments will be published no later than December 31, 2025 at https://cityoflakewood.us/planning-commission/ Summary of Proposed Amendments The proposal is an update intended to modernize and better align the City's engineering standards and development regulations with current state, regional and local requirements, as well as adopted Comprehensive Plan and Subarea Plan policies.
