Notice of Public Comment Period Substantial Amendment to Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development The City of Tacoma is proposing to substantially amend its program year 2025 (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026) Annual Action Plan to program Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) funds. CDBG-CV funds are provided to the City of Tacoma by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for use in Housing and Community Development activities that prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus. This amendment is to allocate $500,000 in CDBG-CV funding to the City's 2025 Annual Action Plan. The following activities will be funded using this allocation: CDBG-CV Public Services: $500,000 for non-congregate temporary and inclement weather shelter A draft of the amendment is available for public review at: tacoma.gov/conplan Written comment will be accepted during a five-day public comment period commencing on December 7, 2025 and concluding at 5 p.m. on December 12, 2025.
