ADVERTISEMENT REMANN HALL DETENTION SECURITY AND HARDWARE REPLACEMENT 2025-MPW-261 SCOPE OF WORK: The work proposed includes all the necessary *permits, fees, materials, equipment, labor, and related items to construct improvements to the Remann Hall Detention Building located at 5501 6th Ave Tacoma, WA 98406. * Pierce County will pay fees for the General Building Permit and Plan Review for this project. The contractor is responsible for any specialty or other permits required for this project and shall include such fees in his bid. PROJECT ESTIMATE: $480,000 - 530,000 not including WA State Sales Tax PRE-BID WALKTHROUGH AND SITE EXAMINATION: A Pre-bid walk-through will be held at 5501 6th Ave, Tacoma, WA 98406 December 2nd, 2025 @ 1pm. The walk-through is anticipated to take approximately 1.5 hours and will include all areas involved in the project. All are to meet at the back SW loading dock entrance. We will meet in the conference room across from the cafeteria. HOLDER'S LIST: BIDDERS WHO REGISTER AND DOWNLOAD BID DOCUMENTS will be automatically added to the bidder's list in the OPENGOV Bidding Software. COMPLETION TIME: The successful bidder will be required to substantially complete all basic bid work within 130 CALENDAR DAYS OF NOTICE TO PROCEED. The Contractor will have an additional 30 CALENDAR DAYS to reach Final Completion and Acceptance for a total of 160 CALENDAR DAYS.
