OF ECOLOGY Notice of Application for a New Groundwater Right Permit G2-30865 Take Notice: That the City of Tacoma on March 21, 2023, under Application No. G2-30865, filed for permit to appropriate public groundwater, subject to existing rights, from up to four wells in the amount of 2,750 gallons per minute and 3,754 acre-feet per year for continuous municipal use to support operations at the Tacoma Central Wastewater Treatment Plant. The sources of the proposed appropriation are to include one existing well (Well 1) located within the NE 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 3, Township (T.) 20 North (N.), Range (R.) 3 East of Willamette Meridian (E.W.M.) and up to three wells (Wells 2-4) located within the NW 1/4 SW 1/4, the SE 1/4 SW 1/4, and the SW 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 3, T.20N., R.3 E.W.M, in Pierce County. Protests or objections to approval of this application must include a detailed statement of the basis of objections and are subject to public disclosure.
