NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING SERVICES The Town of Steilacoom is soliciting statements of qualifications and performance information from professional engineering firms interested in providing CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT engineering services for the Town of Steilacoom's Rigney Road Preservation Project. The project includes the grind & overlay of the existing asphalt wearing course of Rigney Rd. between Lexington St. and Steilacoom Blvd. within the Town of Steilacoom. The project would also replace one sidewalk ramp that does not meet ADA guidelines and is inadequate. The project is anticipated to be constructed in 2025. The project involves a combination of Federal and local funding. Interested firms should have a proven track record of providing successful construction management engineering services involving FHWA and WSDOT (LAG Manual) requirements. WSDOT will audit the project to ensure compliance. Responses are due at the Public Works office (Attn: Linda Orozco) at 1030 Roe St., Steilacoom, WA 98388 no later than 10:00 a.m. on August 13, 2025. Submittals received after this date/time will not be considered as responsive. Three copies of the Statements of Qualifications and Experience are required (no more than 10 pages in length each, front and back) and shall include at a minimum: A proven track record in construction management documentation involving Federal funds, WSDOT LAG Manual compliance and reporting requirements.A demonstrated ability to supply the Town of Steilacoom Public Works Department with complete construction management documentation services for this project. This includes but is not limited to on-site meetings, inspection, QA/QC, and bid oversight, consistent with WSDOT (LAG Manual) and Federal funding requirements.Ability to assist Town staff in file management as it relates to required forms, documents, and other records to demonstrate compliance with the WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines and Federal funding requirements for construction management services. Upon review of the submittals, selected firms will be invited for interviews. The Town of Steilacoom, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Sub Title A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration for an award.
