LEGAL NOTICE The State College Zoning Hearing Board will meet in a hybrid meeting on Sept. 8, 2026, at 12:30 PM to hear the following case. This meeting will be held at the Municipal Bldg, 243 S. Allen St., State College, PA in Room 241. Joey Glassco, 441 Ridge Avenue, State College, PA seeks a variance from the provisions of §19-2406.b(6) and 19-602.c of the State College Borough Zoning Ordinance, which respectively require a five ft side yard setback for curb cuts driveways and a 30 ft front yard depth for dwellings in the R-2 district. The property contains a two-family dwelling and the applicant proposes to create a new curb cut and driveway serving the unit at 441 Ridge Ave which will encroach 1.5 ft into the side yard and an uncovered deck on the Fairway Rd side of the lot which will encroach six ft into the front yard. Requests for variances are heard by the Zoning Hearing Board as authorized by Ch. XIX, Part C, Section 301 of the Municipal Code. The public is invited to participate in the meeting.
