LEGAL NOTICE The State College Zoning Hearing Board will meet in a hybrid meeting on Sept. 8, 2026, at 12:30 PM to hear the following case: Frank Koe, 411 S Sparks St, State College, PA seeks a variance from the provisions of § 19-602.e of the State College Borough Zoning Ordinance, which establishes the rear yard setback for all structures in the R-2 district. The applicant proposes to construct an attached carport over the existing parking area which is accessed from Hawk Alley. The proposed carport encroaches 20' into the required rear yard. Requests for variances are heard by the Zoning Hearing Board as authorized by Ch. XIX, Part C, Section 301 of the Municipal Code. The public is invited to participate in the meeting.
