Allen St., State College, PA and virtually online to render a decision on the following cases: Robert Goetz, 730 N Atherton St, State College, PA seeks a variance from the provisions of §19-2406.b(6) of the State College Borough Zoning Ordinance, which requires a five foot side yard setback for driveways. The applicant proposes to create a new parking area in the rear of the subject property that accessed from the abutter's driveway, crossing the shared property boundary and encroaching on the required setback. Requests for variances are heard by the Zoning Hearing Board as authorized by Ch. XIX, Part C, Section 301 of the Municipal Code. Roeshot Properties, L.P., 302-320 South Corl Street, State College, PA seeks a variance from the provisions of Section 19-2404(c) of the State College Borough Zoning Ordinance, which requires curbing to be constructed around the perimeter of all parking areas except those serving one and two-family dwellings. The requested variance is to omit the requirement to construct curbing around the perimeter of the parking area located on the southwestern boundary line of the subject property.
