SPECIAL MEETINGS FOR THE REGIONAL GROWTH BOUNDAY / SEWER SERVICE AREA DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL IMPACT APPLICATION: PENN STATE – ARL CAMPUS AT INNOVATION PARK NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Centre Region Planning Agency has received a Development of Regional Impact (DRI) Report from Penn State University proposing the expansion of the Regional Growth Boundary / Sewer Service Area (RGB/SSA) for approximately 50 acres at Innovation Park to accommodate the future Applied Research Lab (ARL) campus located in College Township. Because this project site lies outside the current RGB/SSA, a DRI review is required. The 2023 RGB/SSA Implementation Agreement permits a large expansion of the RGB/SSA with General Forum approval. During the July 27, 2026, CRCOG General Forum meeting, to be held at 7:00 pm at 2643 Gateway Drive, State College, each Centre Region municipality will hold a special meeting to consider approval of the Act 537 Sewage Facilities Plan Update. The date of the special meeting is July 27, 2026, for the following municipalities: College Township Harris Township Ferguson Township Patton Township Halfmoon Township State College Borough If a municipality does not have quorum present at the July 27, 2026, CRCOG General Forum meeting, the alternate date for casting their vote will be at their August 2026 meeting.
