INVITATION TO BID STATE COLLEGE BOROUGH WATER AUTHORITY GASEOUS CHLORINE Sealed bids will be received by the Executive Director of the State College Borough Water Authority (Authority) until 2:00 p.m., prevailing time, on August 10, 2026, at the Authority's offices 1201 West Branch Road, State College, PA, at which time, date and place such Proposals will be opened and read publicly for the following Contract: CONTRACT NO. 14-2026 - Furnishing and delivering approximately 20,000 pounds of Gaseous Chlorine which must meet latest revision of current American Water Works Association/ANSI Standard No. B301-04, is ANSI/NSF certified. To be delivered in 150 LB Cylinders, F.O.B., 235 Woodside Drive WATER TREATMENT PLANT in Harris Township, PA. The following information shall be submitted with each bid: Typical Chemical Analysis. Price to remain firm until expiration of Contract: August 31, 2027. The bid price is to include all fees and charges, including fuel surcharges, and is to be F.O.B. 235 Woodside Drive. The actual quantity of Chlorine ordered by the Authority may be 15% higher or lower than the bid quantity. The Authority typically receives Chlorine once monthly throughout the year. Chlorine delivery is required within 7 days of the date ordered. The Authority will not be responsible for bids which are mismarked, delivered to the wrong place or delayed in delivery.
