PUBLIC PARTICIPATION NOTICE – DCED Emergency Solutions Grant Centre County will be applying for ESG grant funds, through the Department of Community & Economic Development, to fund a homeless prevention program, emergency shelter services, and Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) administration. Centre County will be requesting $389,487.88 to fund this project for 18 months. The Board of Commissioners will take action on this proposed grant submission during the Board of Commissioners' meeting on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026. A public hearing will be held on Monday, July 20th, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the Community Services Building (502 E. Howard St., Ste 150, Bellefonte, PA 16823). Written comment will be accepted until Friday, July 24th, 2026 at 5pm and can be submitted to Faith Ryan, Director, Office of Adult Services, via email at frryan@centrecountypa.gov.
